overall, this movie is strong, compelling, and experientially delightful. There is so much visual imagery to unfold and understand and it all relates to the psyches of the main characters. The premise will draw plenty of comparison to Inception but I think the major difference is that Paprika fully embraces how strange dreams can be. This film is hard to follow with lots of repeating, phantasmagorical imagery and odd dream logic. Only a young female therapist can stop it: Paprika. When a machine that allows therapists to enter their patient’s dreams is stolen, all hell breaks loose.
