Yeah, the OP needs to realize that the level five requirement for the lake is temporary so that people with DLC can enjoy it now. Without DLC you're going to have a lot of issue trying land a 70lb chinook salmon, then you'll be here complaining about broken gear and infinite fish stamina.īy the way, catching that many uniques and trophies really dilutes the concept, too many is just as broken as not enough. The lake isn't made for low level players.

Shiners and crankbaits I've had since I was high enough level to unlock them. Also, I catch fish there, albeit slowly, using what I've always used.
